Reed Guice established his public affairs and advertising business in Biloxi in 1976. In 1979, several high-profile political wins put his firm on the map. The highly contested Mississippi Highway Commissioner race that year still holds a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the closest percentage win of all recorded political contests. Since that time, Reed has handled over 100 political contests for candidates and issues.A list of corporate accounts worked on by the company reads like a Who’s Who of South Mississippi business. They include the Gulfport/Biloxi International Airport, Mississippi Power, Hancock Bank, The Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau, Stewart Sneed Hewes Insurance, Bancorp South, Biloxi Regional Medical Center, McDonalds, The Electric Power Associations of Mississippi, Coast Electric, Roy Anderson Corp. and a host of others.He is the winner of the Advertising Federation’s highest commendation for professional achievement – the Silver Medal Award. And, 18 times, he has been awarded the Advertising Federation’s highest creative honor – Best of Show. Guice is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. In 2010, he was inducted into the prestigious USM School of Communications Hall of Fame. He is also a proud graduate of the McDonald’s Hamburger University Marketing College in Oakbrook, IL.
