Angela Guice
President, COO
Born and raised in Biloxi, Mississippi, Angela graduated in 1997 from Mercy Cross High School and studied radio, television and film at the University of Southern Mississippi. Hollywood beckoned, and in 2000, she made the move to Los Angeles, joining the renowned Hollywood, CA-based entertainment marketing agency Autonomy. Angela quickly rose through the ranks, producing numerous television, branding and marketing campaigns for high profile clients including Discovery Channel and Lifetime Television.
A pioneer in the early days of integrated marketing and advertising, Angela directed and produced some of the first branded entertainment series in broadcasting history for Procter and Gamble and Kraft Foods. “Life on the Beach,” promoting the South Beach Diet line of foods by Kraft, won a 2005 Kraft Global Media Award and an Effie for Guice.

In 2006, Angela decided it was time to take her creative vision a step further, launching her own creative agency and production company, NuContext Creative. Specializing in the conception, production, and post production of advertising campaigns for major brands, television networks, and movie studios, NuContext has counted among its clients such prominent names as NBC, Disney, USA Network, Sony Music, Universal, Paramount, Dreamworks, A&E, Walt Disney Studios, and AMC Networks.

In a career crowded with accomplishments, a few notable projects stand out for Angela. After wrapping a Sundance Channel commercial with Robert Redford at his ranch in Utah, she was asked by the network to become the official production company of the Sundance Film Festival in 2014. In this capacity, Angela and company took on the massive task of providing comprehensive festival coverage for Sundance Channel, producing 35 commercials with 11 different brand integrations. Another highlight occurred when NBC contacted her to pitch a campaign to help boost the ratings of their flagship Today Show. Angela won the job, embedding herself and her crew with the Today Show staff to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the program and the personalities who bring it to life. And she's also extremely proud of her decade-long relationship with Disney, having produced work for many of its divisions.

Growing up in a musical household, it's no surprise that Angela's ambitions would also take her beyond the big media companies and into the world of rock and roll. She's been a frequent collaborator with legendary Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, serving as Executive Producer on several projects including the Foo Fighters “White Limo” and “Rope” music videos. Guice also recently wrapped production on a brand new Blink 182 video for their single “She’s Out of Her Mind.” Other musical acts Angela has worked with include Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Nelly, Future, and Janelle Monet.

During her 16 year career, Angela has collaborated with a veritable “who’s who” of major Hollywood heavyweights. Among these have been such notables as Steven Spielberg, Robert Redford, Quentin Tarantino, Matthew McConaughey Jennifer Aniston, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Reese Witherspoon, Ben Affleck, Denzel Washington, Adam Sandler and Vice President Joe Biden. Working with such different personalities could be difficult for some, but Angela credits her Southern upbringing for instilling in her the value of courtesy and friendliness that have proved instrumental in many of her career successes.

Now, Angela is thrilled to join the agency her parents founded in 1976, and lead the Guice&Guice team to create a creative, results-driven agency that will put the Gulf Coast on the map as the advertising destination regionally and nationally.
